Client Eligibility
All service requests are reviewed individually to determine whether the requested support falls within Illuminate NC's nonmedical service capabilities. Acceptance is subject to suitability, scheduling, and availability.
Clients should generally:
- 18 years of age or older
- Medically stable and appropriate for commercial travel
- Voluntarily consenting to companionship and transportation arrangements
- Able to manage medications and personal care independently
- Does not require clinical monitoring, physical restraint, or medical transportation
- Destination and admission arrangements confirmed before travel
