Founded in 2020, Illuminate NC is committed to harm reduction, community connection, dignity, lived experience, and compassionate support.
Our Mission
Illuminate NC exists to help people find their way forward. We operate three interconnected programs — News of Hope, WakeWell, and Companion Care Services — each designed to meet people where they are and reduce barriers to safety, resources, and care.

News of Hope
Our free community harm reduction and overdose prevention initiative serving Wake County and surrounding communities. We provide naloxone distribution, overdose response training, and community outreach in partnership with local organizations and public health agencies.
